Our Story
Sneakers Prep was born after our founder Nix wanted to clean and restore his own ruined pair of Air Max 97’s in the washing machine.
He did extensive research and ended with his first cleaning kit and getting to work on his own collection.
He went on to clean his then partner (Now wife and co-owner of Sneakers Prep) Sarah’s shoes, again with brilliant results.

He continued to show friends, and colleagues who also wanted their shoes cleaned… and word spread fast. Before Nix knew it he had friends of friends contacting him wanting their sneakers back to box fresh.

It rapidly grew and the concept of Sneakers Prep was taking it’s first steps.
​
Fast forward to today Sneakers Prep has grown from a fun hobby, to a side hustle to eventually becoming Nick & Sarah’s sole business and life commitment.

What we offer..
Now Operating from a commercial space in Gillingham, Sneakers Prep have completed thousands of cleans and restorations on trainers, heels, shoes, football boots, and even sliders. We have covered pretty much every type of footwear imaginable.

But guess what…It is not just shoes!!

We also clean and restore bags, purses, wallets and other garments in need of restoration.
​
From cleaning, scuff repairs, suede restoration, crease removal, light repairs all the way to full repaints, dye work, colour changes and custom colour work, Sneakers Prep does it all to ensure your items are cared & restored to the utmost highest level possible.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our work as well as giving a customer focused experience. We strive to ensure each and every item is returned back with the same WOW factor as brand new.

Sarah Clifton
Co-owner & Artist
Sarah is the artistic arm of the business. She has a keen eye for detail, and is obsessed with getting every paint job done to the highest standards. Her vision is to provide a premium restoration service for shoe lovers who want theirs back to their best.
